"How much does an LED wall cost?" is the first question exhibitors ask, and the usual answer is "it depends". Here is what it actually depends on, with real figures from our price list.
Typical daily rates
Our current rates, excluding VAT. Delivery, installation, on-site support and dismantling are included at the main European exhibition centres.
| LED wall size | Ideal for | Daily rate |
|---|---|---|
| 2×1 m (2 m²) | Small stands, signage | from €480 |
| 3×2 m (6 m²) | Medium stands, backdrops | from €890 |
| 4×2.5 m (10 m²) | Large stands, demo areas | from €1,290 |
| 6×3 m (18 m²) | Stages, fair entrances | from €2,100 |
| Over 20 m² | Scenographic installations | on request |
For comparison, a 55" 4K monitor starts at €140 per day and a 75" at €260. See all sizes on the pricing page.
What drives the price
Surface
The main factor. An LED wall is built from 50×50 cm cabinets: more cabinets mean more hardware, more transport volume and more assembly time.
Pixel pitch
A finer pitch (P2.6) puts more LEDs on every square metre and costs more than P3.9. Choose the pitch from the viewing distance rather than "the finer the better" — our pixel pitch guide explains how.
Duration
Set-up costs are the same whether the fair lasts two days or eight, so the daily rate drops as the booking gets longer. We apply duration discounts automatically: −10% from 3 days, −15% from 5 days, −20% from 8 days.
Mounting
Ground-stacked walls are the simplest. Rigging the wall from the stand structure needs certified hardware and coordination with the stand builder, and is quoted when required.
Location and timing
Our rates apply to the main exhibition centres. Other locations add transport, while night work — often needed for walls over 18 m² — or special access is stated upfront in the quote.
What a quote should always include
Before comparing offers, check that they include:
- Delivery to the hall and unloading
- Installation, cabling and calibration
- Video processor and media player
- A technician reachable for the whole event
- Spare cabinets on site
- Dismantling and collection
A low daily rate that leaves out the processor, the technician or dismantling often ends up costing more.
A worked example
A 3×2 m LED wall for a four-day fair: 4 × €890 = €3,560, minus the 10% duration discount = €3,204 excluding VAT, with everything above included.
Five ways to spend less
- Book early. In the peak weeks of major fairs, availability — not price — becomes the problem.
- Right-size the pitch. If nobody watches from closer than four metres, P3.9 is enough.
- Combine LED and monitors. An LED backdrop for visibility plus a monitor at the demo counter often beats one huge wall.
- Prepare content at native resolution. It avoids last-minute rework on site.
- Plan the whole year. Exhibitors with three or more fairs a year get annual rates.
